Little Blues are very common around Ulva Island, with perhaps as many as 25/30 pairs coming across Sydney Cove during breeding season, as well as within the village area of Oban. Very much an inshore penguin I’ve never seen them more than a couple of miles offshore. They will often congregate in rafts of as many as 40 + birds in a boil up zone where presumably food is plentiful.
