Easy Harbour
Toparetutae ….. “Smeared with dung” This was an important stop over and weather refuge for Maori en route to the birding islands, and a trail existed overland from Albion Inlet in Port Pegasus. This allowed travelers to bypass the dangerous South Cape area. Canoes being left here between seasons.
