We Still Live in Interesting Times
It seems even the weather gods are getting with the program and enforcing social isolation. We woke this morning to a world restricted to our boundary fence

But like many I guess we are powering through the ”Things to Do” List and managing to get a bit of reading in as well. And our dog is enjoying a few walks.
Thank God we can still laugh
But if we ever query the wisdom of the current lock down … and we expect it will be extended … then we should look at some of the video footage coming out of ICU wards in Italy and Spain. Heart breaking though the patients condition was, it was the medical staff I really felt for. Who knows what the future will bring us. The virus will be beaten, and hopefully sooner rather than later. But the world as we knew it will be changed in ways we can’t imagine.
Most of our guests have been from overseas, with only a small percentage being New Zealanders, although in the last couple of years that has been slowly changing. I suspect those ratios will invert completely, and we are going to have a LOT of time off.
