We’ve had a lovely day to welcome in 2022. And looking back over 2021 I guess for all that has gone on in the world we’ve had a good year. And on the whole I think, to coin a phrase we’ve had a good pandemic, certainly in comparison to the rest of the world. Something to be said for living on an Island.
Iris has been busy on our garden, lots of pruning, weeding and so forth. My involvement generally limited to carrying and disposing, though some trimming as she is a worry with the big hedge trimmers on the higher shrubs.
We Loved the Forgotten World Experience
Each and every one of the guides was superb. They were all quite unashamedly enthusiastic about what they were doing. After overnighting in Whanganui we were picked up at 0715 by Tracey of Whanganui Tours & Mail Run. Tracey was born in the Whanganui River Valley and it seemed like she was related to the whole valley.
